JDL Technologies is currently seeking Account Managers, both entry-level and seasoned are welcome to join our team, as we are expanding business and have an immediate need for motivated sales professionals. We are interested in candidates who are proactive, hungry to close sales that will drive profitability, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Within this sales role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing business by identifying prospects, initiating contact, and maintaining relationships with clients. You'll have access to a completely defined sales process, funnel, and CRM-management, so you won't have to reinvent the wheel and can focus on selling.

JDL Technologies sells and manages information technology services for small, medium and large businesses in all industries, including healthcare, financial and legal throughout South Florida and beyond. We're looking for hard-charging, sales pros to sell our technology services' but we don't want IT experts. We want passionate hunters who know how to prospect, get to decision makers, and close deals.

As long as you have the sales, verbal communication and time management skills, and love to meet and help new people we'll teach you what you need to know about our IT products and services.

Some of the key actions you'll be responsible for are:

- High-volume cold calling

- Hunting for new prospects

- Selling managed IT services, voice over IP telephony, virtualized desktops and applications, hardware and software

You'll work with a motivated sales team and some geeky engineers, and you'll be based in our comfortable Fort Lauderdale headquarters, although you'll be traveling to appointments throughout South Florida.

Job Description

Responsible for developing profitable new business in the small to mid-size business marketplace (SMB). This entry-level technology sales role is responsible for selling JDL Technologies Managed Services, VoIP telephony, virtualization, infrastructure and network services to C-level decision makers and business owners.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Identify, qualify and close deals in managed services, network services, IT virtualization, converged infrastructure products, and VoIP.
  • Build and develop strategies for penetration and account development.
  • Meet and exceed quotas.
  • Conduct high-volume cold calling.
  • Work with Sales Manager on day-to-day activities.
  • Interact and build a 'trusted advisor' relationship with C-level decision makers and business owners.
  • Present and promote high-value IT solutions and negotiate sales solutions that provide compelling ROI.
  • Manage accounts, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term and long-term opportunities.
  • Work with Engineering staff to identify project needs and develop solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date pipeline of leads and forecasts of closed business.
  • Document and manage results won, lost or pending.
  • Participate in sales and business development meetings on a scheduled basis.
  • Ensure that all sales orders are entered, signed, and properly processed through Operations and Accounting.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Nature & Scope

  • Reports to Sales Manager.
  • Responsibility for establishing and managing sales pipeline.
  • Manage accounts and develop additional sales opportunities within accounts.
  • Overnight travel may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Familiarity with contact management tools such as ConnectWise a plus.
  • Ability to independently identify and schedule meetings with prospects.
  • Capable of consistently attaining or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to get past barriers to decision makers to start a dialogue.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player able to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
  • Self-motivated self-starter, hard-working, resourceful, and passionate with the ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Exceptionally outgoing and motivated to meet and help new people.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
